Elizabeth Williams Matthews, CLC has devoted her life to service: serving God and other people. Her personal mission is to motivate others and bring God glory through sharing her testimony with as many people as possible. Elizabeth was raised by her single mother in Montgomery, Alabama. She received her B.A. in Communication and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama in 2003. She is a marketing and communications professional with over a total of twenty years of experience in advertising, communications, marketing, public relations and television production.
After working in marketing and communications for a healthcare system for almost 17 years, God directed her to take a sabbatical. As difficult as it was, she left her job, but she didn't take the break God told her to. Elizabeth's disobedience landed her at another organization where she resigned after about 3 months. Obedience is always better than sacrifice. Now, she is walking in her calling.
Elizabeth is an author, executive board member, certified life coach, community leader, entrepreneur, mentor and motivational speaker. She is the owner of MindingYourLiz, LLC. Recently, Elizabeth added the title of wife to her list. Above all things, she is a Christian and a survivor who lives, loves, prays and thinks BIG.
